The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that on February 17, atmospheric pressure in the center of the European part of Russia will begin to fall, the wind will increase to 20 meters per second.
"Pleasant and sunny weather is a thing of the past. The weather on Thursday and Friday will be super warm, but precipitation in the form of sleet and rain is predicted due to cyclonic activity. The weather will become gloomy," the TASS meteorologist is quoted as saying.
In Moscow, on February 17 and 18, it will warm up to +5 degrees, which is 10-12 degrees above the climatic norm. "This corresponds to the first ten days of April," Vilfand stressed.
On Friday, the intensity of precipitation will decrease. And on weekends, the air temperature will drop a little: during the day, a maximum of +2 ... +4 degrees.
