Forcing the threat of "Russian invasion" from Western countries is in the nature of "economic sabotage", said the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov in a column for the publication "Glavred".

As the ex-minister pointed out, countries with market economies, including Ukraine, are extremely vulnerable to information wars that are aimed at undermining the economy.

The peculiarity of the situation in Ukraine is that the “information war of destabilization” was started and intensively waged by Western countries, especially the United States and Great Britain, Suslov noted.

“Those whom the Ukrainian authorities call “our friends and partners.” The essence of the war was to escalate the threat of an “invasion” of Russia using air and missile strikes, armored forces, and the occupation of Ukraine,” the expert explained.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy announced the ongoing “self-hypnosis” of the United States in the situation around Ukraine.
