The stewardess of Victory helped a Muslim to pray and broke stereotypes

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Russian blogger and journalist Rasul Tavdiryakov shared positive emotions from flying with Pobeda airline thanks to a flight attendant who helped him pray in comfortable conditions.

Returning from Africa to his homeland, the journalist saw that it was time for prayer. Having performed ablution, he began to look for a place where he could perform his religious duty. It was possible to choose one of two things - to pray while sitting in the passenger seat, or to perform a full-fledged prayer with prostrations to the ground where flight attendants usually stand.

Having heard about the “cavalier attitude / of this airline / to customers”, the man hesitantly asked the stewardess if he could pray, where she and her colleagues are standing. The girl agreed.

The Muslim prayed quickly. After that, a brief conversation took place between him and the stewardess. The girl asked if there is an abbreviated form of prayer in Islam. The man answered in the affirmative, noting that this was “a gift from the Almighty to a traveler.” Then it was his turn to ask:

"Me: How do you know about prayer?"

She: My husband converted to Islam before he died.

Me: What happened to him?

She: My heart just stopped.

Me: May Allah forgive his sins and enter him into paradise, and may the Almighty replace you with the best.

Her: Thank you very much. All the best to you".

Tavdiryakov added that he was very inspired by this dialogue and he wanted to “do something good for this nice stewardess”, such an opportunity soon presented itself.

One of the passengers was indignant at the lack of protective gloves on other people and threatened to write her complaints in the book of complaints.

"I watched the stewardess politely and patiently answer this angry aunt. Here the aunt declares that she will write all her complaints in the book of complaints at the airport. I saw bewilderment and despondency on the girl's face. After the stewardess finished talking with this grumbling Shepoklyak, I called her and said that I would also write in the book of complaints ... and when I saw even more bewilderment in her eyes, I continued ... that you are the best and most caring flight attendants I have ever met The girl smiled and went on to do her job, "," the blogger wrote (punctuation about the author's spelling is preserved).
