Russia (bbabo.net), - The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage of how another echelon with military equipment from the Western Military District is being prepared for shipment to the places of permanent deployment of troops.

The video shows the loading of tanks and other armored tracked vehicles onto railway platforms. It is reported that the length of the route that the tankers of the Western Military District will have to overcome on their way home will be about 1,000 kilometers.

"Upon arrival at the points of permanent deployment, the servicemen will begin maintenance of military equipment and its preparation for further planned combat training activities of the winter training period," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The department recalled that now the Armed Forces are conducting a series of large-scale exercises and other events for the operational training of units and subunits. Almost all military districts and fleets of Russia, as well as the Airborne Forces, participate in them.

"The units of the Southern and Western military districts, which completed combat training tasks as part of the exercises, have already begun loading onto rail and road transport and began moving to their military garrisons. Individual units will march on their own as part of military columns," the Defense Ministry noted.
