Russia (bbabo.net), - ONPZ became a partner of the XII Scientific and Technical Conference "Oil and Gas Engineering 2022". Support for the project has already become traditional, and is part of the career guidance program "School-college/university-ONPZ".
The event takes place at Omsk State Technical University, where the Gazprom Neft base department has been operating since 2014. It annually gathers students, high school students from Russian and foreign technical universities, as well as researchers and oil industry specialists. And it helps to improve the level of training of new personnel.
This year, more than 300 people became participants in Oil and Gas Engineering 2022. Eight sections were organized within the framework of the conference, where young people and professionals discussed topical issues and prospects for oil refining.
The key element of the program "School-college/university-ONPZ" is the basic department of OmSTU. For eight years, 150 specialists have been trained here. Every year about 30 graduates come to work at the enterprise.
- For many years, the basic department of Gazprom Neft has been providing the Omsk Oil Refinery with young specialists with high professional qualifications. Our partnership with the leading technical university in the region allows students to form an understanding of real production problems even at the training stage and give them the tools to successfully solve them, - says Margarita Ivanina, Deputy General Director of the ONPZ.
The company pays special attention to educational programs. In particular, case championships are organized annually for high school students - future oilmen. Chemistry and physics classes and multidisciplinary laboratories are being opened in schools. In institutions of additional education, robotics classes are being created. They are provided with modern equipment. Conduct intensive "Summer Academy of Sciences".
At the end of 2021, the project "Professionals of the Future - New Generation Companies" by Gazprom Neft was recognized as the best case for working with young people as part of the WOW!HR-2021 international business award. The Omsk Oil Refinery is also an active participant in the program.
