“Today I had a wonderful conversation with Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock. We discussed how to advance our cooperation on cybercrime, financial crime and our fight against corruption. We also agreed to strengthen our strategic partnership,” Maia Sandu tweeted.

At the same time, Jürgen Stock stressed that he had discussed with Maia Sandu the question of how Interpol could provide assistance to the Republic of Moldova.

“I am happy to meet with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, at the Munich Security Conference. We talked about how INTERPOL can help fight organized crime, especially financial crime, asset recovery and corruption,” Juergen Stock tweeted.
