Poroshenko told how he scared Russian tankers

Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that, as head of state, he managed to scare the Russian military with rumors about Western weapons. Poroshenko spoke about this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel, mk.ru reports.

According to him, he managed to contain the "Russian aggression" with the help of disinformation. Ukraine received Javelin portable air defense systems from the West, but did not have the right to use them at the front.

At the same time, as Poroshenko assures, he ordered to spread the rumor that these weapons are in the equipment of each brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) and allegedly the very next day Russian tankers refused to go to combat positions.

Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss announced her intention to create a service whose task would be to counter Russia's "disinformation" against Ukraine.
