Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the statements of the State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov with threats against the Yangulbaev family should be evaluated by the Parliamentary Ethics Committee. This was stated by the Kremlin representative during a briefing.

According to him, it is not within the competence of the Kremlin to comment on such statements of the deputy.

“Assessing the actions of a deputy is not our function, it is the function of the State Duma and the committee that deals with ethics,” Peskov stressed.

The press secretary of the Russian head also clarified that certain assessments were nevertheless given by the ethics committee of the State Duma.

“We would not want to interfere in this process,” Peskov explained.
