Russia (bbabo.net), - Five saboteurs who were trying to illegally enter our country from the territory of Ukraine were destroyed by the Russian military with the help of border guards. This was reported on Monday by the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD). It is noted that an attempt to violate the state border of the Russian Federation was prevented. It was undertaken, according to the military, "by a sabotage and reconnaissance group from Ukraine."

The incident occurred on February 21 at about 6 am Moscow time near the village of Mityakinskaya, Rostov region.

"The border squad of the FSB of Russia discovered the penetration of a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the territory of Ukraine. During the clash, five violators of the state border were destroyed," the press service of the Southern Military District said in a statement.

At the same time, it is noted that two armored vehicles of a foreign army even entered the territory of Russia. According to the Russian military, two infantry fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine intended to pick up saboteurs previously abandoned to us from the territory of the Russian Federation. Both infantry fighting vehicles were eventually destroyed by our military and border guards from anti-tank weapons.

"The Russian military and border guards did not suffer as a result of this sabotage," the Southern Military District concluded.

A little earlier today it was reported that a Russian border guard checkpoint had been blown up by a projectile.
