The republic informed that the settlements of Novaya Maryevka, Petrovskoye, Sakhanka, Bezymyannoye and Kominternovo were subjected to shelling, TASS reports. 120 mm caliber guns, LNG, RPG and heavy machine guns were used.

In turn, the representative office of the LPR in the JCCC reported that five settlements were shelled tonight - Veselaia Gora, Raevka, Zholobok, Donetsk and Zolote-5. In total, over the past day, the territory of the republic was shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine 114 times, including heavy weapons, RIA Novosti reports.

The situation in the Donbass has escalated in recent days, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics have reported a lot of shelling by the Ukrainian security forces. The leadership of the DPR and LPR announced the temporary evacuation of citizens in connection with the threat of Ukraine's invasion.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws on the ratification of agreements with the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance. Previously, they were unanimously supported by both houses of parliament. Russia hopes that the decision taken by the president will contribute to a peaceful scenario and stop the bloodshed.
