The effectiveness of allied programs in the field of the latest scientific developments that are being implemented in Belarus gives reason to count on new large-scale horizons, which will be provided by the next joint program "Additivity".

Its upcoming signing, believes Alexander Ilyushchenko, General Director of the SNPO Powder Metallurgy of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, will allow cooperation with Russian centers to create new materials and develop 3D printing. He recalled that Belarusian specialists are already successfully participating in the Tekhnologiya-SG, Cosmos-SG and a number of other programs.

Listing the promising areas for the development of cooperation with Russia, the CEO singled out, first of all, friction materials and products based on them, heat pipes with a porous powder capillary structure, porous and permeable materials.

As for the main consumers of the institute's products, the scientist singled out tractor factories and enterprises for the production of special equipment of the Union State among them. As an example, he cited friction discs that are supplied to the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant. During the year, according to him, the Moscow Region enterprise orders products for approximately $150,000. In addition, factories in Lipetsk and Cherepovets, Cheboksary and St. Petersburg are interested in the Institute's materials.

Ilyushchenko explained that the Belarusian Institute specializes in the development of new powder and composite materials, as well as technologies for producing various types of products that operate under operating conditions at a wide variety of temperatures.

And among the priority customers, the scientist singled out public utilities, enterprises for the production of road and rail transport, aviation equipment. By the way, the amount of work performed in 2021 amounted to about 19 million Belarusian rubles. Only the Minsk Tractor Plant annually ships materials worth $600,000.
