Russia (bbabo.net), - A plane has landed in Chkalovsk, near Moscow, carrying Russian children taken out of Syria. This was reported by the press service of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Russian Federation.

14 children aged 3 to 15 have been returned to Russia. Five of them were in the shelters of Damascus, and nine more - in the territories of refugee camps located in the Trans-Euphrates, RIA Novosti reports.

During the flight, the children were looked after by doctors and psychologists. Now they will be placed in one of the Moscow clinics for a full medical examination. After the recommendations of doctors, the children will be placed under the care of relatives.

Work on establishing the whereabouts and return to their homeland of underage Russian citizens located in the territories of Iraq and Syria has been carried out since 2017. It is organized and held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
