Russia (bbabo.net) - Under the sanctions that the West has announced against Russia, prices for vital food and medicine cannot be allowed to rise, said Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko.

"In the context of unprecedented sanctions against Russia, the most important thing now is to turn on everyone's brains, analyze everything that prevents business, private initiative, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses from working. Turn on all our capabilities, the potential of the country and do no harm so that there is no panic" , - said Matvienko at a meeting of the Federation Council on March 2.

In her opinion, all business should "become national", help to strengthen and further develop the economy. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent a rise in prices for either vital foodstuffs or medicines, as well as building materials.

Valentina Matvienko is convinced that some unscrupulous entrepreneurs should not be allowed to take advantage of the current situation. She also instructed the senators to prevent decisions that could lead to a sharp rise in the cost of rubble and construction in general.
