Podolyak on Kuleba's statement on Moldova's accession to the EU: It is inappropriate

Moldova (bbabo.net), - Volodymyr Zelensky's adviser and head of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the Russian Federation, Mikhail Podolyak, criticized the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba about the decision of Moldova and Georgia to apply for EU membership. In an interview with TV8, Mikhail Podolyak called Dmitry's statement Kuleba inappropriate.

“I do not consider such statements by the Minister of Foreign Affairs appropriate. I understand the position of Moldova and Georgia, which alone cannot build an efficient economy. Russia will be upset by the end of the war and will try to take revenge on everyone because of the economic problems that it will face.

That is why I understand the position of Moldova and the attempt of these two states to find partners with whom they can quickly and efficiently develop their economy,” Mikhail Podolyac said.

Recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said earlier:

“With all due respect to our Georgian and Moldovan partners, the application by Moldova and Georgia for EU membership now looks like an attempt to put their two cars on a high-speed Ukrainian train going to Brussels. Ukraine's application for accelerated EU membership should be considered separately from those of Georgia and Moldova.
