Grave of great Tatar theologian found in Egypt

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The burial place of the outstanding Tatar theologian, Islamic thinker and philosopher Musa Bigiev, known in the Muslim world under the name of Sheikh Musa Jarulla, was discovered in the Egyptian capital.

The scientist left the mortal world in 1949. He devoted his life to the revival of the fundamental values of Islam. His religious and philosophical views became widespread in a number of Islamic countries.

The theologian was forced to leave his homeland in 1930 due to repressions. The secret exit from Central Asia was organized by his Turkestan friends.

Before settling in Egypt, the scientist traveled to many countries of the world, including Chinese Turkestan, India, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Afghanistan, and Turkey.

It is known for certain that the Janazah prayer for the famous son of the Tatar people was performed in the Cairo mosque of Sayyid Nefis. He found his last peace in the family royal cemetery of Khedivie. Several expeditions with the participation of religious figures and scientists from Tatarstan tried to establish the exact burial place. However, each time these attempts ended in nothing.

Only thanks to the teacher of Al-Azhar University, Sheikh Hamdallu al-Safti, finally managed to find out the exact location of the grave of Musa Bigiev. The expert in Sharia sciences announced the sensational news during a meeting with representatives of the Muftiate of Tatarstan in Kazan.

It turned out that the theologian rests in one of the crypts in the aforementioned cemetery. This is evidenced by the tombstone, which indicates that Sheikh Musa Jarulla is buried there.

Tatarstan is expected to organize a solemn ceremony on this occasion in autumn.

It is noteworthy that Bigiev wrote many of his works in the Tatar-Ottoman language, which made them understandable to the inhabitants of the Ottoman Empire.

The scientist was an opponent of radicalism. He advocated the use of new scientific knowledge and technologies of Western countries and at the same time pointed out the inadmissibility of adopting alien spiritual values, seeing them as harm to Muslims.

Bigiev can be fully called a political scientist. Already at the end of the First World War, he predicted a new large-scale military conflict for the redivision of the world. He also spoke about the coming spiritual crisis of Western civilization.
