The Russian TV channel NTV-Mir stopped broadcasting from the European satellite

The international version of the Russian TV channel NTV stopped broadcasting in the GlobeCast package on a European communications satellite.

According to the FlySat portal, on August 2, the NTV-Mir TV channel stopped working from the HotBird 13C satellite (13 ° E), which belongs to the French operator Eutelsat. Thus, NTV-Mir in unencrypted form is now available only on Russian satellites Express-AM8 (14°W) and Express-80 (80°E).

The channel was broadcast in the GlobeCast package, but due to EU sanctions, the distribution of the satellite signal was turned off. However, it should be said that Russian channels continue to work in the GlobeCast package at a frequency of 11034 MHz. In particular, TNT International (the international version of the federal TNT), entertainment 7D7TV, and the religious TV channel Soyuz.

Recall that since May of this year, the applications of the NTV channel are no longer available on Google Play.

In June of this year, NTV, along with other Russian TV channels, were hacked.
