Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Russian Embassy protested the US State Department's reaction to the murder of journalist Daria Dugina. The corresponding comment was published on August 24 in the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.

It notes that State Department spokesman Ned Price allowed himself to draw a parallel between the terrorist attack and some "false flag operations" that the Russian Federation allegedly carried out repeatedly.

We are deeply indignant that the American authorities have taken advantage of this terrible tragedy to re-broadcast a set of irresponsible Russophobic statements," the embassy said.

Diplomats stated that in this way Washington creates the impression among the public that the Russian authorities are responsible for the death of their own citizen, a true patriot of Russia.

And at the same time, the statements of Ukrainian leaders about the non-involvement of Kyiv in the murder of Daria Dugina are not questioned.

“The tragic death of a young politician was a shock to the Russian people. This terrorist attack cannot be a pretext for another shameless insinuation on the part of the State Department,” the diplomatic mission concluded.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the US State Department's reaction to the murder of Daria Dugina discredits Washington's international human rights activities.
