SKC in Istanbul allowed the release of four ships with food from Ukrainian ports

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Joint Coordinating Center gave permission on Friday to leave the ports of Ukraine for four ships with corn, barley and rapeseed as part of the Black Sea grain deal, the UN reports.

“SKC authorized the release of four vessels carrying a total of 58.8 thousand tons of grain and other food products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the message says.

The UN specified that Super Bayern (33 thousand tons of corn), A-line (10.7 thousand tons of corn) ships will go to Egypt. The Lucky ship will head to Greece with 6,000 tons of corn and 4,400 tons of barley, while the Sevil ship will deliver 4,700 tons of rapeseed to Romania.

In addition, the Kiran America vessel (50,000 tons of barley and corn) has postponed its exit from the port of Chornomorsk and plans to head to China on Friday.

“As of September 8, the total tonnage of grain and other food products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 2,376,291 tons. In total, the movement of 227 vessels has been allowed at the moment - 122 arriving in Ukrainian ports and 105 leaving them,” the release emphasizes.

In Istanbul on July 22, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, two documents were signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports - Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny.
