Manchester United have agreed a four-year deal with Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag, R-Sport reports citing The Athletic.
It is noted that there is an agreement in principle between the parties, but an agreement has not yet been reached on the transfer of a specialist between Manchester United and Ajax. There will be no official announcement until April 17, when Ajax will face PSV in the Dutch Cup final.
Manchester United's interim coach is Ralf Rangnick. His contract runs until the end of the season.
Eric ten Hag has been in charge of Ajax since 2017, under his leadership the club twice became the champion of the Netherlands and the owner of the National Cup, once the owner of the Dutch Super Cup. In the 2018/19 season, he led the Amsterdam team to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
