Russia (bbabo.net), - Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov spoke about an attempted sabotage on the Turkish Stream. Earlier, Vladimir Putin himself and the FSB announced this.

“Some forces [President Vladimir] Putin gave hints about the possible origin of these forces, they have already encroached on the Turkish Stream. Saboteurs were taken, several people were arrested. They wanted to blow it up. On our territory, on land,” Dmitry Peskov said, Interfax reports.

The day before, Vladimir Putin said that objective data, including the testimony of the detained perpetrators, show that the special service of Ukraine acted as the customer.

Back in late September, the FSB reported an attempt to commit a terrorist attack on the oil and gas complex, through which supplies go to the European Union and Turkey.

“During the seizure of two improvised high-powered cumulative explosive devices from the cache, the perpetrator of the planned crime, a Russian citizen, born in 1978, recruited on the territory of Ukraine by SBU officers, was detained,” the FSB said in a statement. The department added that he also found means of communication containing correspondence and negotiations with the curator from the SBU, instructions for assembling an explosive device and transferring funds, as well as the coordinates of the place where the explosion took place.

It is known that in response to news about an attempted sabotage on the Turkish Stream and explosions on the Nord Stream, Turkey has strengthened the security of its section of the Turkish Stream.
