According to him, in the Kupyansk direction, Russian artillery fire and army aviation strikes defeated the manpower and military equipment of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Peschanoe, Ivanovka and Berestovoye of the Kharkiv region.

As a result of artillery strikes, about 160 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles, two artillery pieces, a pickup truck and two cars were destroyed.

“In the Lisichansk direction, the battalion tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an unsuccessful attempt to attack in the direction of the settlement of Stryapovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the general reported.

He stated that the active actions of the Russian troops drove the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine back to their original lines. More than 50 Ukrainian servicemen, six tanks, two armored combat vehicles and four pickup trucks were destroyed.

“In the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction, Russian troops thwarted an attempt by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through the defenses in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Bruskinskoye, Kherson region. More than 100 Ukrainian servicemen, 13 armored combat vehicles and eight vehicles were destroyed,” Konashenkov said.

Earlier it was reported that in the Svatov direction in the Kharkiv region, near the village of Berestovoye, a group of six Ukrainian intelligence officers was taken prisoner by the military of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).
