Germany will extend the operation of the last three nuclear power plants for at least a few months
German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz has ordered the operation of the country's last three nuclear power plants - which would have to close at the end of the year - be extended until at least mid-April.
Scholz's order put an end to the ruling coalition's long-running dispute over the fate of the nuclear power plant as the country urgently seeks a replacement for Russian gas.
