Ukrainian trucks entered Poland by rail

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - A train with 13 tractor-trailers with semi-trailers loaded onto railway platforms from Ukraine arrived at the Slavkov station in the Silesian Voivodeship. This was reported by the radio station RMF FM with reference to PKP Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa.

To bypass the blockade of Polish truckers, Ukrainian trucks began to be delivered to Poland by rail, from where they will disperse to other EU countries.

On the night of December 8, the test train arrived at the Grubieszow station from the Ukrainian side. Yesterday morning he arrived at the LHS station in Slavkov. Trucks from Poland will go to Germany, Sweden and Lithuania.

“The travel time from the border station was about 8 hours; after all customs operations were completed, the cars went down the ramp of the head post. The target transport countries for cars are Germany, Sweden and Lithuania,” says the RKR press release.

It is noted that the train had 10 empty spaces for loading trucks on the way back from Slavkov.

As bbabo.net reported, 200 pickup trucks, components for drones and other equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were blocked by Polish cargo carriers at the border. This was reported by the Seattle Times with reference to the Associated Press.

Pickup trucks and turnstiles heading to the battlefield in Ukraine are stuck in a multi-kilometer queue on the border with Poland, components for assembling drones are delayed for two to three weeks, the agency reports.
