Emeralds with socks. Why in Russia they “cancel” guests of the “naked party”

The “stars” who attended blogger Ivleeva’s “naked party” found themselves at the epicenter of a pre-New Year scandal. And not only because they violated the norms of public morality. And not because “accidentally” a usual pastime for their get-together ended up in the press

The process of changing the ideology of entertainment, and, by and large, the ideology of society, has begun (and in fact, has been going on for a long time).

But first, a little history.

- Pineapples and champagne -

It seems that what happened at Ivleeva’s place is just a pathetic and tasteless parody. Something similar happened in Russian society during the First World War.

Then the symbol of vulgarity was “pineapples in champagne,” and this symbol was used to reproach the “creative intelligentsia” of the early 20th century for a very long time.

A hundred years have passed, and now the symbol of the “creative elite” has become emeralds with socks, which Ivleeva and the rapper, who were extremely unknown to that time, wore to their famous “naked party”.

Moreover, both one and the other were located in the genital area.

Now the “elite” or, in the words of Ksenia Sobchak, a participant in the same party, “beautiful people in beautiful outfits,” look like this.

And a hundred years ago, imagine, “pineapples in champagne” were considered a symbol of vulgarity. The “elite” has come a long way, very far.

It is now obvious that harmless pineapples and light alcoholic drinks suffered completely undeservedly.

But the poets of the Silver Age and their admirers could not imagine, of course, that a naked man in public was something worthy of attention. Entertainment for the lower classes, perhaps.

- Pineapples and revolution -

This famous poem was written in 1915.

“In a group of nervous girls, in a spicy society of ladies,” Igor Severyanin ate pineapples and drank you know what. And the First World War was already underway, and there were two years left before the February Revolution, and a half years until October.

The poem became "a symbol of the philistine dream of a beautiful life." By the way, Vladimir Mayakovsky advised Igor Severyanin to eat pineapple in champagne, who later reproached him for this “vulgar poem.”

In 1917, Vladimir Mayakovsky himself wrote:

Eat pineapples, chew hazel grouse, Your last day is coming, bourgeois is a poem in which pineapples are again remembered, but the mood is completely different.

1917 The war has been going on for three years now. And the cafe "Comedians' Halt" in St. Petersburg has its own atmosphere - with hazel grouse and pineapples. What Mayakovsky, who looked there, honestly described:

“The remnants of fashionable and rich St. Petersburg began to fall towards the halt. To the beat of some rollicking music, I made a couplet...” “The elite” continued to have fun and dance. And for the poem "Here!" (“I’d rather serve pineapple water in a bar.”) They kicked Mayakovsky out of cafes like this and even tried to beat him.

A year later, in 1918, Igor Severyanin left for Estonia. He will remain the author of several famous poems of the “Silver Age” of Russian poetry.

Twenty years later, in 1936, he would write another poem:

From a proud feeling, a little strange, It sometimes feels so bitter: Russia was built anew, Not by us, by others, without us. And the author of “pineapples” concludes very sadly:

And now we are left without a homeland, And our appearance is both pitiful and empty. As if a spreading bush had been gnawed by a white currant. Here is a lesson from the author of the famous poem. We danced and drank pineapples and champagne.

Does any of the party participants know about the fate of Northerner? Most likely no. Can you really keep track here, while jogging between clubs?

As a naked party participant, Dima Bilan, said: “publicity is part of my profession.” Which, by the way, is completely untrue. There are many wonderful artists who do not go to public events and feel great.

But it is said that history repeats itself in the form of a farce. “And our appearance is both pitiful and empty”...

But “ours” still have a homeland and still have the opportunity to distance themselves from the “trash, frenzy and sodomy” of vulgar parties.

Will they do it? It depends on the position of society and on how the authorities react to these moods of society.

- Consequences -

Party participants began to receive fines and sentences, which to many seemed frivolous.

15 days for the rapper and 100 thousand fine for Ivleeva. Frivolous? But the subsequent “punishment” is much more unpleasant for all participants.

Commercial contracts of the same Ivleeva were terminated. All party participants were identified thanks to surveillance cameras. Everyone will be checked, including with the help of the tax office.

The club is closed because it violated sanitary and epidemiological standards. It is unknown when it will open. A full audit of its activities is planned for January.

Advertisers and all financial contracts of the club and evening participants are checked and reconciled. Requests have been sent to EU countries to establish citizenship, residence permits, real estate, bank accounts and transactions on the crypto exchange for two-thirds of the evening’s participants.

The party participants, the “stars,” are urgently cut out of television programs, their performances are cancelled. These are Kirkorov, Lolita, Bilan, Vodonaeva and Glucose.

The most “victim” is Anna Asti, a citizen of Ukraine and for several months now a citizen of Russia. A citizen of Ukraine and Russia, Lolita faces criminal charges under two articles.

Composer and producer Maxim Fadeev announced that the “Glucose” project is no longer associated with the name of Natalia Ionova.

Well, the representatives of the TV channels can only confirm: the process is underway.

As Tina Kandelaki immediately did, personally answering the question: will the New Year’s film “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Everything” be remade on TNT.

“They’re redoing it,” Kandelaki answered mysteriously. That’s it! Views are guaranteed.

- Objectives and mechanism of cancellation -

But all this, of course, would not be worth such a reaction if it were only about who hung the emeralds where and who offended public morals.

And we are not even talking about the power of a minority or a majority in the culture and ideology of the country. The majority who are disgusted by such parties have been heard, and this is wonderful. But, still, we are talking about something more than just standards of decency.

We are talking about ideological sovereignty.

The “naked party”, which is completely unusual for the people of Russia, is a copy of Western similar entertainment. This format cannot take root here, even if the “stars” try very hard.

How far all these naked people are from the people is shown even by the fact that there was a discussion online: which Western embassy organized this evening?

And the return of ideological sovereignty, naturally, is accompanied by the abolition of old norms of decent and indecent, possible and impossible.

In general, this mechanism, “cancellation,” has a huge historical foundation and religious roots. A large (or small, as in the case of early Christianity, for example) group rejects something from the past.

In our time, society, public pressure groups and the state are “abolishing” old norms. This was and is the mystical tradition of “rebirth,” the birth of a new person, new consciousness or norms.

This is the most important thing that happens.

This is not a “cancellation” of the old influence group (although that too). This is the promotion of a new social group, new norms in society, a new culture.

“Cancellation” is not bullying, as some bloggers sometimes try to imagine of our “unfortunate cancelled”, who ask for forgiveness against the backdrop of their palaces and fashionable apartments.

The fact of the matter is that this is the birth of the new - through repulsion and denial of the old.

And those of our artists, not only the party participants, but everyone else who understands and accepts new norms, new ideas, will also benefit in the future.

This is paradoxical, but true. The “canceled” will gain more in the future than they lost. If, of course, they sincerely repented. Whether this is true or not, we will see very soon.

But there is no longer any return to the old culture. Although there will definitely be more attempts to return to it. But the pendulum has already moved in the other direction. This is the meaning of the abolition of the “naked party” by society, and most importantly, by the state.

Well, we, well, can calmly eat pineapple with champagne, without any regard for the “symbol of vulgarity.” Who loves, of course.

And even at the front, there will probably be such an opportunity. And this will completely and absolutely support the entire society.
