Moldova signed agreements with the CIS for the sake of protocol graphs - Voda

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Moldova has signed 282 agreements within the CIS, of which 79 are at the stage of denunciation, for 120 the corresponding procedures have already begun, and for 36 the process has been completed. This was stated today, March 21, by government spokesman Daniel Voda.

According to the official, the main criterion when analyzing documents is their usefulness for citizens and institutions, as well as their compliance with the European aspirations of Chisinau.

Voda noted that the republic is not the only country that denounces agreements with the Commonwealth. He added that some of these documents were signed "for the sake of protocol photographs of political leaders."

Speaking about the possible introduction of a visa regime for the CIS countries, Voda clarified that Moldova has bilateral agreements with most of the countries of the community. The only exceptions are Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mikhail Popshoi, stated that “Russia created the CIS in order to limit the independence of the states of the former Soviet Union.” The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has already noted that the puppet pro-European authorities of Moldova are pursuing a two-faced line regarding the CIS: Chisinau talks about its desire to leave the Commonwealth, but at the same time is in no hurry to give up its socio-economic advantages.

As bbabo.net reported, summing up the results of 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the intention of the Moldovan authorities to terminate agreements with eastern partners. He stated that the presence of Moldova in the CIS has no value for the Commonwealth itself; Chisinau itself should be more interested in this.

“If they don’t want to, they don’t need to. Where will Moldovans go with these products? We don’t refuse, we don’t push anyone away. If they want to work, we are happy; if they don’t, that’s their choice,” the Russian leader concluded.
