Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Former Director General of the Military Staff, EU Lieutenant General Jean-Paul Perruch called for taking into account the risks and consequences of the possible sending of French troops to Ukraine if they participate in hostilities.
“It would be very risky to enter [combat] with limited forces, especially the forces of one country, and then not take into account what will happen after,” he said on LCI TV, TASS reports.
Speaking about possible military actions in Ukraine and developments in the conflict, he noted that hypothetical scenarios may “not work if you don’t foresee what could happen” if the Russian Federation takes retaliatory measures.
As bbabo.net reported, on March 19, SVR director Sergei Naryshkin stated that Paris is already preparing a military contingent to be sent to Ukraine, at the initial stage it will amount to about 2 thousand people. He pointed out that French military personnel are already unofficially present in Ukraine, among them there are dead and wounded. After this, the French Ministry of the Armed Forces claimed that the data announced by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service did not correspond to reality.

The number of Ukrainians arriving in Belarus continues to grow
Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Over the last week, more than 2 thousand citizens of Ukraine arrived in Belarus. This was reported today, March 29, by the State Border Committee of the Republic.
“Since the beginning of the year, 22,383 citizens of Ukraine have entered our country: in transit through Poland - 16,364, through Lithuania - 5,802, through Latvia - 202, through Ukraine - 15,” the message says.
It is noted that “in total, since February 24, 2022, 168,875 Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus from Ukrainian territory: across the Ukrainian-Belarusian border - 15,933, in transit through Poland - 114,152, through Lithuania - 34,052, through Latvia - 4,738.” A week earlier, it was reported that 166,469 Ukrainians arrived in the republic.
Let us remind you that Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Belarus does not take part in it, but supports Moscow’s actions. In addition, the Belarusian authorities declare their readiness to accept into the republic everyone who is fleeing hostilities in Ukraine.
