Caucasus (bbabo.net), - A Russian man with pockets full of dollars was detained by customs officers at the Mineralnye Vody airport.

According to the FCS press service, a 63-year-old passenger who flew in from Baku was carrying more than 40 thousand dollars in his jacket.

During a survey on the “green” corridor, the man stated that he had a large amount of cash. He himself presented the money to the inspector and explained that he did not want to waste time filling out the declaration.

Currency in excess of those allowed for import without declaration of 10 thousand dollars was seized. A criminal case has been opened for smuggling.
