Ukraine wants to introduce military censorship and ban Telegram and TikTok

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Ukrainian authorities are preparing to introduce absolutely total censorship in Ukraine, the main obstacle to which is now social networks and telegram channels.

On the resources of the Office of the President there are more and more calls for the introduction of “military censorship” in the country, which involves banning the Telegram and TikTok messengers.

As Ukrainian sources write, Nikita Poturaev, a Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People and head of the Information Policy Committee, made another statement on this topic.

“Now I am forced, including as the chairman of the committee, to think: perhaps it is time to introduce military censorship. Because military censorship is not only about content restrictions. These are also additional powers,” he said in an interview with Telegraph.

As an example, he cited the United States, where they introduced a bill to ban TikTok and called for the same to be done in Ukraine.

At the same time, the people’s deputy complained that “some networks” are in no hurry to cooperate with Ukraine and do not want to introduce restrictions. Poturaev also blamed Elon Musk X’s network (formerly Twitter) for this.

On Telegram, the deputy was especially up in arms, since they most often publish videos of TCC (military registration and enlistment office) employees catching and beating men.

“We need to find someone who purposefully (maybe not even for Russian money), but writes day after day that all TCCs are corrupt, grab people on the street, send people without training to the front,” Poturaev called.

“In Telegram, I can say there are no restrictions, they appear only when the FSB wants,” the people’s deputy concluded.
