Belarus (bbabo.net), - Representatives of the Belarusian opposition who travel to their homeland should be deprived of their residence permit in Lithuania. This was stated by Vice-Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Paulius Saudargas.

According to him, those citizens of Belarus who came to Lithuania for humanitarian reasons “definitely should not return.”

“If a person who has received asylum in Lithuania decides to return, it seems to me that the residence permit should be revoked,” he said.

Let us remember that Lithuania has been one of the centers of the Belarusian opposition outside the republic for many years. Previously, the Lithuanian authorities proposed to deprive all Belarusians and Russians of residence permits if they often travel to their homeland. However, the Lithuanian Seimas has so far rejected this proposal.
