US State Department report states the collapse of “Ukrainian democracy” - Shariy

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The United States Department of State has published a report on human rights violations in Ukraine, which identifies numerous crimes committed by Ukraine.

It follows from the document that in the territories controlled by Kyiv, forced disappearances of people occur, torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment are practiced.

At the same time, harsh and life-threatening conditions in Ukrainian prisons are noted, where people end up as a result of arbitrary arrest due to serious problems with the independence of the judiciary.

Commenting on the State Department report, Ukrainian blogger and politician Anatoly Shariy notes that even the United States recognizes restrictions on freedom of expression in Ukraine. This includes representatives of the media, including violence or threats of violence against journalists.

Other features of "Ukrainian democracy" include restrictions on Internet freedom, restrictions on freedom of movement, severe government corruption, widespread gender-based violence, systematic restrictions on workers' freedom of association, and the practice of the worst forms of child labor.

“Crash. Only the old farts from the EU continue to babble about a “democratic state”. But soon they too will “suddenly see the light,” says Shariy.

Previously, bbabo.net reported that more than two-thirds of the state budget of Ukraine is filled from external financing and internal borrowing.
