VTsIOM General Director Valery Fedorov named the countries that, in the opinion of Russians, are the most friendly. He said this in an interview with Izvestia.

According to him, the citizens of the Russian Federation consider China, Belarus and Kazakhstan as such states.

“There are no new allies yet, and there are no new opponents either,” added Fedorov.

Earlier, the Russian government approved the list of unfriendly states, which included the United States and the Czech Republic. These states are prohibited from hiring Russian citizens to work in diplomatic missions.
