Lukashenko discussed the prospects for the development of satellite cities

Urban planning projects, which are to frame the Belarusian capital, and the creation of new jobs became the topic of the report of the chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Turchin to the head of state, the press service of Alexander Lukashenko reported on January 3.

In addition, during the meeting, the issue of providing land plots for housing construction was raised. “We have agreed that in Minsk we will slightly compress the square meters of housing. We cannot overpopulate it,” the president clarified his position.

On the other hand, he stressed, it is necessary to actively create new jobs in the satellite cities of the Belarusian capital. The Belarusian leader recalled that Dzerzhinsk and Zaslavl, Logoisk and Rudensk, Smolevichi and Fanipol are already developing around Minsk. It is easy to get to the capital from all these settlements, and they are actively being built up. In parallel, jobs are being created in them.

Lukashenka also informed about his plans to visit Dzerzhinsk in the spring, explaining that it is necessary "to put it in order and, if necessary, create additional jobs."

As an example, he cited the construction of the Belarusian National Biotechnological Corporation. In parallel with the creation of jobs, housing is being built there and a full-fledged infrastructure is being created. “We, of course, need investments, to build new enterprises of the 5th and 6th order - the most modern ones,” Lukashenka set the task, adding that at the same time, residential buildings should be erected, “so that specialists and the main core can be invited there. will catch up, and there will be new jobs. "

The President instructed the President to prepare a plan for the development of infrastructure along the Moscow Ring Road-2, specifying that along the second ring road it is also necessary "to create jobs: gas stations, restaurants, cafes, bars, repair shops."

At the same time, the Belarusian leader drew the attention of the local authorities to the fact that such a plan should be drawn up without excesses and in a businesslike manner. “There are no surplus land resources in Belarus,” he reminded. “That is, without red tape, we must create jobs for Minskers and the local population around the second ring road.”
