Foreign Ministry holds online campaign in support of Ukrainian prisoners in Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine holds an international online campaign in support of illegal detention of Ukrainians in Russia.

It is reported by the Foreign Ministry on its Facebook and Twitter pages.

"September 8, two weeks before the date of the Russian court verdict for the director Oleg Sentsov and activist Alexander Kol'chenko, this campaign will be part of a large-scale global marathon in support of the Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia," – was said in a statement.

On September 8 all foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine, the Ukrainian expatriate organizations, human rights associations, and representatives of foreign states and international organizations from Canberra to San Francisco in turn, would join this campaign through the official pages on social networks.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry also invites everyone to participate in this international campaign, in particular:

- To carry the signals of Russian misconduct, and call for the release of illegally detained Ukrainian citizens;

- Use themed images on their pages on social networks;

- Actively use hashtags: #FreeSavchenko, #FreeSentsov, #FreeKolchenko, #LetMyPeopleGo.
