I believe that the government should focus its efforts on initiating a new association agenda with the EU. We are talking at least about the capitalization of the first tranche of macro-financial assistance in the amount of 150 million euros, which was recently allocated by the European Commission. In turn, IDIS Viitorul expert Ion Tebyrta clarified that the Chisinau government must implement the reforms included in the Association Agreement in order to continue to enjoy EU support.

“In relations with the EU, the Republic of Moldova needs to move from words to deeds. We must admit that the EU's openness towards the Republic of Moldova will be maintained and deepened only if the Republic of Moldova is able to recover in the conditions of the reforms provided for in the Association Agreement.
