Futuristic minivan Hyundai Staria comes out in Russia: details about engines and versions

Hyundai has received vehicle type approval (OTTS) for the new Staria minivan, which is now ready to enter the Russian market. The car will appear in Russian dealers in the first quarter of 2022. Hyundai Staria will be supplied to the Russian market from the plant in the South Korean Ulsan.

Hyundai Staria with two engines was brought to our country: a 2.2-liter 177-horsepower turbodiesel and a 3.5-liter (V6) 249-horsepower gasoline engine. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic gearboxes are available to buyers.

In addition, 7- and 8-seater passenger versions, as well as an all-metal cargo van, will be available in Russia. The basic version includes electrically heated exterior mirrors, a tire pressure monitoring system and an anti-theft device. In older versions, climate control, heated windshield, a multimedia system and a maximum speed limiter are available.

The Staria minivan, which replaces the H-1 model, has received a recognizable appearance thanks to a long horizontal strip of daytime running lights and a headlight block located under it. Large panoramic windows and a low glazing line emphasize the free space in the interior.

The car received a digital dashboard, a 10.25-inch multimedia system screen and a push-button electronic gear selector. The central tunnel is equipped with cup holders, USB ports and an additional storage compartment.
