Tokina SZ Super Tele 500mm F8 Reflex MF full-frame lens introduced

Tokina has unveiled a catadioptric telephoto lens with a focal length of 500mm and a constant aperture of f/8. Its description lists its main applications: shooting landscapes, wildlife and bird scenes. Given their features, the manufacturer tried to combine a large focal length with small size and weight. Of course, the lens can also be used for other types of photography, including sports coverage and portraits. His drawing is characterized by the blurring of point light sources outside the field of sharpness into recognizable "rings".

The lens is focused manually. It features a T-mount that accepts adapters that turn the Tokina SZ Super Tele 500mm F8 Reflex MF into a Canon EF, Sony E, Nikon F, Nikon Z, Micro 4/3, or Fujifilm X mount lens. The adapter can be purchased as a kit with lens or separately.
