Samsung Electronics today introduced not only the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra smartphones, but also a new line of flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S8.
The series includes the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra models. The star is the S8 Ultra, which differs from the Galaxy Tab S8 and S8+ in terms of design and features. This is a huge tablet with a cutout on the screen - the same bangs that house the dual front camera.
Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display, WQXGA+ resolution (2960 x 1848 pixels), up to 120Hz refresh rate, 13MP & 6MP dual rear camera, 12MP & 12MP front camera SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8 to 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 512 GB of internal flash memory, 11200 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 45 W.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ features a 12.4-inch WQXGA+ (2800 x 1752 pixels) screen, a 12 MP front camera, a 10,090 mAh battery, no bundles with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory.
The base model Galaxy Tab S8 received an 11-inch screen with a resolution of WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels), an 8000 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner in the side power button.
5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2 are supported, there is an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The tablets received four AKG speakers. The work is carried out under the control of the Android 12 operating system.
All three tablets work with the S Pen and a selection of accessories, including a keyboard. The kit includes a stylus and a USB Type-C cable, but the charger will have to be purchased separately.
In Russia, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will go on sale on March 11, 2022. The Tab S8 model will be available at a recommended price of 64,990 rubles, Tab S8 + - from 81,990 rubles, and Tab S8 Ultra - from 106,990 rubles.
