The South Korean MMORPG Lost Ark overcame the mark of 1 million simultaneously playing users in a day and overtook Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. The game also took 5 places at once in the top sales over the past week.

Lost Ark was introduced in 2019 in South Korea and Russia through the MY.GAMES service. The game was released to the Western market on February 8, 2022 in Early Access mode on Steam. A few hours after the start, the project has already managed to gain more than 500 thousand users in peak online. After a full launch, the figures stepped over 1 million, which helped Lost Ark overtake Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Over 1.2 million viewers watched the game on Twitch, propelling the Lost Ark category into first place in terms of popularity. At its peak, more people watched the project than the GTA V, Apex Legends, and Social categories combined.
