A well-known Chinese insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station revealed details about the camera of Xiaomi's flagship smartphone, which so far is codenamed Xiaomi Super Cup. It is expected that the smartphone may be called Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

He stated that the main camera will use a 50-megapixel image sensor with optical stabilization. The maximum resolution will be 8192 x 6144 pixels. Additionally, two image sensors with a resolution of 48 megapixels will be installed, one of which will provide a 5x optical zoom and will also be equipped with an optical stabilization system. In general, the digital zoom range will be from 0.5x to 120x.

It is also confirmed that the Xiaomi Super Cup will be equipped with an image processing system jointly developed by Xiaomi and Leica. It was previously reported that it is built on the basis of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system and is equipped with a second-generation LTPO screen with a resolution of 2K + with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
