The well-known cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced its entry into the Association of Banks of Russia. This will allow her to provide a dialogue with federal authorities, legislators and experts in the field of digital financial assets. The Presidium of the Council of the Association of Banks of Russia approved the entry of Binance into the association and decided to create an Expert Center for Digital Financial Assets and Digital Currencies.

The Presidium also voted to appoint Olga Goncharova, director of Binance in Russia and the CIS, as the head of the Expert Center. The purpose of the Expert Center is to prepare professional opinions on the circulation of digital financial assets and digital currencies, issue expert and analytical materials on this topic, generalize and disseminate international experience.

Introducing Olga Goncharova, Georgy Luntovsky, President of the Association of Banks of Russia, noted: “We are creating an Expert Council for the future and pinning great hopes on the arrival of Olga Alexandrovna. She has big plans for conducting an examination of the circulation of digital currencies, organizing events on this topic. And in our opinion, this is a good candidate to lead the platform where the expert community could discuss approaches to the regulation and development of digital financial assets.”
