Zoom enters the customer support market

Zoom announced the expansion of customer support with the launch of the Video Engagement Center. The tool will bring together all the aspects that relate to customer service.

The company promises that the tool will be user-friendly for agents and managers alike, and customers will be able to integrate the contact center directly into their current workflows. At launch, it will have over 100 features for all participants, including operators, supervisors, and administrators. Zoom also plans to update the hub to include deeper support for CRM tools.

Zoom Contact Center will launch first in the US and Canada, and will roll out to other markets later this year.

“In the past, contact center infrastructure was difficult to deploy, expensive to operate, and time-consuming to upgrade. The Zoom Contact Center has been carefully designed to meet the needs of the modern agent and end customer who need a personalized, digital and efficient tool,” Zoom said.

On February 22, Zoom became the seventh IT company to start enforcing the grounding law in Russia. She registered a personal account on a special website of Roskomnadzor, and is also considering opening a representative office in the Russian Federation.
