Samsung Electronics has announced that its Galaxy S22 series smartphones and Galaxy Tab S8 tablets are available in markets around the world following record pre-orders.

The Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series received more pre-orders in their first week than any other Samsung smartphone and tablet to date. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series have more than doubled that of the Galaxy S21. More than 60% of orders were for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S8 series also more than doubled the number of pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S7 series. Approximately 50% prefer the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
