On February 22, 2022, the first production Lada Vesta of the new generation rolled off the assembly line of the Lada Izhevsk automobile plant. According to the Lada.Online resource with reference to the press service of AvtoVAZ, the production of the new Vesta is still being carried out simultaneously with the production of the 2015 model.

For some time, both generations will continue to produce, gradually the share of the 2015 model will be reduced. The timing of the complete withdrawal from production of Lada Vesta 2015 by AvtoVAZ representatives is not currently known.

The start of sales of the second generation Lada Vesta is expected in mid-2022. As suggested by Lada.Online, simultaneously with the start of sales of the new Vesta, the production of the old one will be stopped.
