Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G Smartphone with Kirin 9000L, 90Hz OLED Display, 50MP, HarmonyOS 2.0, Fast Charging Goes on Sale in China

Huawei announced several new products at Mobile World Congress, including new laptops in the MateBook line. Along with this, the company also launched the Mate line of smartphones in China, dubbed the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G.

It is offered in three color options - Black, White and Mithril. The device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory and costs 6,700 yuan in China, which is about $1,060.

The smartphone features a Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has an oval cutout in the top left corner of the screen.

The smartphone is based on the Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000L single-chip system, which is manufactured using a 5-nm process and includes one Cortex-A77 core with a frequency of 3.13 GHz, two Cortex-A77 with a frequency of 2.54 GHz and three Cortex- A55 with a frequency of 2.05 GHz.

The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera, which includes a 50-megapixel f/1.9 aperture sensor, a 20-megapixel f/1.8 ultra-wide-angle module, and a 12-megapixel f/3.4 aperture telephoto sensor. On the front side of the device, there is a 13-megapixel ultra-sensitive wide-angle camera and a 3D depth camera.

Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G runs its own operating system HarmonyOS 2.0 from a 4400mAh battery with 66W ultra-fast charging support.
