Ubisoft confirms cyberattack and reset employee passwords

According to Verge and hacker group Lbbabo.netSU$, Ubisoft has confirmed a recent cybersecurity incident that resulted in the company resetting the passwords of all employees. Now the IT infrastructure of the company is operating normally

Ubisoft clarified that the personal information of players, customers and partners was not stolen in an attempt to hack into its servers. The company did not give any other clarifications on the incident. Ubisoft has released titles such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, For Honor, Just Dance, Prince of Persia, Rabbids, Rayman, Tom Clancy's and Watch Dogs.

The incident probably took place in early March. At that time, many users reported problems accessing Ubisoft services, which were later resolved.

The hackers from Lbbabo.netSU$ indirectly indicated in their Telegram channel that they were involved in this hacking attempt, but did not provide any details on this operation.

On February 26, NVIDIA launched an investigation into a cyberattack on its systems. In its course, 71 thousand credentials of the company's employees were stolen. Later it became known that Lbbabo.netSU$ hackers hacked NVIDIA's internal network and copied more than 1 TB of the company's critical data.

On February 28, hackers from Lbbabo.netSU$ revealed that the stolen NVIDIA data contained drivers, circuits, firmware, and an algorithm for the RTX 30 hash limiter. They began to distribute part of the leak in the public domain.

In early March, Lbbabo.netSU$ hackers hacked into Samsung and stole at least 190 GB of the company's sensitive data, including sources and dumps of various security systems for the company's mobile devices.
