A resident of Odintsovo, near Moscow, sells antique Patek Philippe watches, made almost 100 years ago, on social networks. This was reported in the press service of the VKontakte Announcements platform.
According to information provided by the seller, the rare item was made in Switzerland in 1925-1930 for the Norwegian professor Ebbe Herzberg.
The materials from which the watch is made are platinum, sapphires and diamonds, the author of the ad claims. He valued his goods at 1 million rubles.
The width of the watch intended to be worn on a chain is 45 mm.
Similar watches were previously sold at Sotheby's online auction for 113 thousand Hong Kong dollars, which equals 1.1 million rubles. The starting price ranged from 70 thousand to 90 thousand Hong Kong dollars.
