China has planned six space missions for 2022, they will allow the completion of the national orbital station Tianhe

China is planning six space missions to its Tianhe space station this year. They will allow the station to be fully completed and put into operation. This was announced by the head of China's Manned Space Flight Program Administration Hao Chun.

“For 2022, we have planned six missions, after which the construction of the station in orbit will be completed. Then the stage of its operation and further development will begin,” he said at a press conference dedicated to the successful completion of the next stage of the project.

The head of the department also noted that the physical condition of the three taikonauts who returned from the Tianhe to Earth on Saturday on the Shenzhou-13 ship is normal. Recall that the taikonauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu stayed on the space station for 183 days.

The Chinese station is located at an altitude of about 400 km and is expected to last more than 10 years. "Tianhe" is designed for three people (up to six for a short time when changing crew).

Russia now does not have its own orbital station - for the time being, the ISS is used for space experiments. However, work in this direction is underway: it is expected that the first module of the domestic orbital station will appear in 2025, it will be a scientific and energy module.
