Russian IT company began recruiting employees to work in the metaverse

Napoleon IT has created its own office in the Minecraft metaverse and for the first time in Russia opened a recruitment office there. Among the vacancies are an office manager-designer of virtual worlds, a security guard-moderator, a loot manager, an event designer and others.

“We are the first in Russia to open the recruitment of employees to work in the metaoffice in such a quantity. There are vacancies for creating metaspaces, as designers, but we have not seen any vacancies for working inside them. For us, this is a strategic and experimental step, designed to unite colleagues from all over the world in a single space,” said Ruslan Akhtyamov, director of strategy and co-founder of Napoleon IT.

He explained that, unlike other existing solutions, the office in the metaverse provides a deeper and more native immersion in the workflow, empathy for relationships with colleagues and clients, as well as a sense of the company as a whole.

“To prepare for a full-fledged entry of all employees into the Napoleon IT metaverse, recruitment is open for unusual vacancies. For example, an office manager of virtual worlds and a designer all rolled into one, who will create comfort and refine the space. The moderator guard, who will keep order, will take on the responsibility of moderating the behavior of the participants, blocking those who break the rules. Among the vacancies there is even a pet-nanny, who will have to take care not only of pets, but even of dragons. Candidates for a position in the metaverse must have experience playing Minecraft, a portfolio of work and a desire to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Napoleon IT in the metaverse,” Akhtyamov said.

Napoleon IT is an IT company that has been developing since 2011. Key competencies: Data Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, ML, cloud, highload backend and mobile in retail, industry, fintech.
