Service for publishers Ridero trained a neural network to create illustrations for book covers

Service for publishers Ridero taught the neural network to create illustrations for book covers based on the task set by the illustrator or designer. AI generates up to ten variants of illustrations, RB.ru reports with reference to the company's press service.

The neural network builds associative images based on the task and synthesizes technical style techniques. In particular, AI can generate the necessary degree of detail in the light or the styles of certain specific artists: from Aivazovsky to Hayao Miyazaki, Ridero claims.

Representatives of the company note that the neural network does not understand requests literally - to work with it, you need a designer who will set the task correctly in order to get the desired result. The program will generate up to ten variants of illustrations based on the request and choice of style of an artist or animator and make a drawing in his style.

Alexey Kulako, co-founder of Ridero, an expert in UX design and digital marketing, claims that the neural network created by his company is the first in the Russian book market, which is used using generative design technology from the field of artificial intelligence for a mass audience.

The Ridero platform was launched eight years ago. Since then, the service has published more than 118 thousand books, and the number of its users has exceeded 630 thousand people, writes RB.ru.
