Russia - The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will receive more than 3,700 new types of equipment

Russia - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said that at the Army-2022 forum, 7 state contracts were signed and 29 were awarded to 26 enterprises of the military-industrial complex worth more than 500 billion rubles.

As a result of the implementation of these contracts, the Russian Armed Forces will receive more than 3,700 new types of equipment. In addition, repairs will be carried out with the modernization of over 100 weapons, military and special equipment.

In particular, a contract was signed for the supply of the latest Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles to the Strategic Missile Forces. The armed forces will begin to receive the latest S-500 air defense systems.

The Navy will purchase Onyx anti-ship homing cruise missiles. The Ministry of Defense will purchase T-90MS "Breakthrough" tanks. An order has been made for the overhaul and modernization of T-80BV gas turbine tanks. The overhaul of infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 with their simultaneous modernization will also begin.

The Military Industrial Company and Arms Workshops will continue deliveries of BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, Tigr-M vehicles with the Arbalet combat remote-controlled module. The Ministry of Defense will purchase unmanned aerial vehicles Orlan-10, Orlan-30, Orion, Pacer and Eleron-3.

The Russian Defense Ministry has signed contracts for the supply of upgraded Ka-52M Alligator and Mi-28NM Night Hunter attack helicopters. Contracts were signed for the supply abroad of anti-aircraft missile and gun systems "Pantsir-S1M" and for a new portable anti-aircraft missile system "Verba". The first contracts for the Repellent Patrol electronic warfare complex were also signed.

The forum also demonstrated the latest developments, including the Arctur submarine, Surrogat-V drones, the Chukavin sniper rifle, the Kh-69 aircraft missile, the latest amphibious armored personnel carrier on the Kurganets-25 platform, and much more.
